It started with one cow named Gertie.

Tom grew up on a small dairy farm in Wisconsin. He and Amanda started Murphy's Grove to reconnect people with the source of their food. What began with a single Guernsey cow in 2022 grew into a Grade A licensed on-farm dairy processing facility by 2025.

Our Guernseys are A2A2 certified — producing only the A2 beta-casein protein many people find easier to digest. We vat pasteurize slowly, skip homogenization, and let the cream rise to the top the old-fashioned way.
