Meet the family

Tom Murphy

Tom grew up on a dairy farm in Wisconsin but after losing the family farm, he ended up working HVAC in the Twin Cities. After meeting Amanda, Tom shared his dream of returning to a farm to raise his family. He enjoys the farm animals, farm equipment, and working side by side with his family. Tom is an avid cook and loves to try new recipes and can frequently be found grilling up some choice meats in the summer.

Mathias Murphy

Mathias Torben Murphy was born on May 1st 2022. His favorite activity on the farm is riding in the tractor with his dad.

Amanda Murphy

Amanda grew up with a love for all animals. When she met Tom, Amanda had 14 foster cats! Actually it was 2 mama cats each with a litter of kittens. She currently works off farm as an Engineer. In order to pay for college, Amanda spent time as a cook and developed a love for cooking. Meals to her are essential in joining a community or family together. Amanda has traveled to Ireland, Malaysia, and Jamaica and loved trying new cuisine.

Anders Murphy

Anders Henrik Murphy was born December 28th 2023.

Pascal

Pascal is the resident couch potato and food taster. He is a rescue pitbull mix originally from Tennessee. He loves lounging on the deck in summer and curling up in a blanket in winter. If you come to visit, keep an eye out for him as he may steal your steak right off your plate!

Heather (aka Kitten)

No farm is complete without the cat. Heather is the resident mouse chasing kitten in training. She races around the house and will play with anything she can get her paws on.
